For the past few weeks, I’ve been working so hard on finishing the last touches for the Juicebox magazine, the project that I mentioned in the previous articles. Now I am happy to say that is sent ALL done and sent off to print! Soon I will be posting the whole thing.
So leaving that behind, today I’m going to show you guys my favourite hair brushes and hair my routine when I come out of the shower. Why? Because it took me a while until I found some good hair brushes and especially since I want to prevent damaging my hair, I will also give my review on the Braun Satin Hair 7 brush.
Fresh out of the shower, I use my Tangle Teezer brush to get my hair smooth tangle-free. This brush is the best I used for wet hair. I remember I used to spend so much time trying to brush my hair without breaking it but since I am using the tangle teaser, it saved so much time. No comparison with the regular hair brushes that I used to use.
So my thing is: I try to avoid heat as much as I can. Even though my hair is very frizzy, on the regular basis I look for solutions to that are heat free. Instead of blowdrying, I just dry it upsidedown, focusing on drying the roots very well so I can get volume.
For this, I use the GHD Wonderland Hair dryer.
After the dry, I brush my hair properly with the Spornette Little Wonder brush. I started to use this tool many years ago and after trying other brushes, I still think this one is the best. It is mainly used for combing but I also use it for brushing my dry hair.
The Braun Satin Hair 7 brush. I’ve seen this one around for a while now and I saw many mixed opinions about this product, so I decided to give it a try.
As I said before, I try to prevent heat on my hair as much as I can and since this brush works with active ions being released, I definitely wanted to have it.
So first things first. This is not a hair straightener that will do miracles to your hair. This brush is made mainly for frizzy hair like mine and it gives a smooth look without damaging it. I used on a daily basis because it works with batteries, I can carry it around everywhere and for my type of hair, it works. As you can see in the video and images bellow, the difference is not radical but you can definitely notice it.
I am totally happy and I think you guys should try it if you have frizzy hair.
