How to Prepare Homemade Facial Masks

Sunday, 8:37AM and I am in my bed, watching Gossip Girl again and writing because I have a week full of events coming up.

For me, Sunday is a day of relaxing and also the best time to do those beauty routines so I can be fully charged for the next week. So today I’m going to tell you guys how to prepare homemade facial masks that I use regularly to prevent breakouts and tired skin.

NUMBER ONE

You might know this but just by drinking 2 or 3 Liters of water per day, keeps your skin flawless. Simple, right?

But now…how many times you tried a product after the other and came to the conclusion that the old remedies are the best?
Well, that’s what happened to me at least and I believe many of us can feel identified.

OILY SKIN

Have you ever wondered why when we go to the beach our skin looks better? It is because of the sea salt that is in the water and air so this is the perfect remedy for those who don’t go to the beach so often.
Prepare your face mask made from sea salt honey and lemon.
Mix it all up and leave it for 15 min before rinsing with a cool absorbent washcloth.
Lemon is one of the most effective solutions for the oily skin.
The lemon juice will wipe away all of that oil while the salt will scrub away everything else.

FACIAL SCRUB

Time for a treat! Give yourself a break with this relaxing facial scrub made of vanilla extract, one spoon of white or brown sugar, 1/2 cup almond oil and around 15 drops of lavender essential oil.
This is perfect for a day off at home, replacing that spa that might be far away.

ACNE SOLUTION

How to Prepare Homemade Facial MasksAdults or teenagers can suffer from acne and it might be related to genetics, environmental factors or hormonal imbalance. The truth is that there are tons of products that can help the prevention or treatment for the acne but are they really working? The solution leads to a good diet and going back to basics. Trying the organic remedies, of course.
Mix one tablespoon of aloe vera gel with four tablespoons of honey in a bowl and apply it to your face. Leave it for 20 min and wash with warm water.

Enjoy your Sunday beauties!
